Thanks for all Your Prayers and Help

Hudson Surgery 1-2Hudson Michael Coon born July 8th 2015 weighing 6 lbs 6 oz and 18 1/2 inches long passed away exactly 1 month after his birthday. He was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and developed a rare case of it after his first major surgery. He was loved by so many for just the short amount of time he lived. Although he passed on, he never once gave up. He was taken off the ecmo machine completely today around 2:30. He fought extremely hard the whole time and they ended up having to let him go because all the medicines he was on was the only thing keeping his vitals stable. His heart finally had enough at 9:43 when it stopped beating completely. They announced that he had passed a few short minutes later. He was being held by his mommy when he passed. We all know he is in a better place now. He went to go get a new heart and be with other family members in Heaven. The Lord blessed Mickala and Zach long enough to spend a month with Hudson. He’ll be missed by so many. Thanks so much for your prayers and help. Hudson Michael Coon, July 8th 2015-August 5th 2015.

Don’t ask me how many pictures……

My uncle JoeAsh, Issoudun France 1918

I hope I haven’t lost all my blogger friends. I have spent almost every waking minute for the last two weeks, sorting and putting photos in albums. I had some in old albums that were about to fall apart so I had to take those photos out and put them in new albums. I have been collecting photo albums from garage sales over the last few years and have some really nice ones now full of great family photos. I have to say I got frustrated some times because there are so many that have nothing written on the back so I had to guess or compare to figure out who they are. I scanned the oldest ones and put them in an iPhoto album on my laptop. I had several boxes full of loose pictures from my moms stuff and my grandmothers things. If you have photos loose like me don’t let them get out of hand. Now days we down load from digital cameras into the computers but there are those old wonderful pictures that are turning a little yellow from age that need to be saved.

I just sat there….

Oh Praise the Lord, it finally rained. We had so many days of triple digits, it was making me sick. I sat on my screened porch most of the day. It was such a nice cloudy day after a pretty good rain.
I am glad Fall is finally here for tv’s sake. I love “Flipping Out” on Bravo and I like the “Real Housewives of___” This season it is DC and the RH of New Jersey is finishing. I really like the RH of New York. You know when you have reality shows so much more is funny when people are not acting from a script. Bravo has the best reality shows and I thoroughly enjoy watching them. HGTV also has some very enjoyable shows. I like seeing what I could do with my house if I could walk, lift or stand up for awhile. Bad back, ugh! Design Star will finish Sunday evening.
Another exciting event is that my son and his family are moving into a fantastic house. It was built probably in the 50s, is Polynesian design and is wonderful. Take a peek at several pictures.

They call it the Brick house estate because of all the different rooms that have actual real red brick floors.
