The Zero Waste Home
Refuse, Refuse, Refuse. Then reduce, reuse, recycle (and only in that order)
This is a very interesting site that I found today. I don’t think I will be making my own stationary from scratch however she does have some ideas that I may try. I already reuse junk mail envelopes to write on (notes, grocery lists and computer notes). I also reuse the plastic bags my newspaper comes in on cloudy or rainy days. I use the reusable bags for grocery shopping. If you are looking to save some money or are into recycling take a few minutes to check out this site.
How about leaving some of your best recycles in the comment box.

I use my plastic grocery bags as garbage bags, then dump my garbage off at the local convenience store. Done that for years.
I use the kids’ old socks as erasers for the white boards at home. And if a greeting card has a really artsy image, I cut it out and use it as a bookmark.
When I say “drop them off at the local convenience store”, I mean in the trashcans next to the gas pumps…. sorry for any confusion……
