The Mother Lode Weekend

More Today's Thrifty Treasures
This was a terrific garage sale weekend!!!
The Fall hanging door decoration was $3.
The green box below was a $2 bargain. Then
my prized buy for the day was the bench
saying Winter Welcome for ONLY $15. I
have seen those for over $100 at a craft show.
I got the holiday bird house made from some
old wood for $3 and can you believe it but
the snow man picture w/barn wood frame
was a mere $2. The Christmas fireplace
cover was $5 as was the 6' wood Christmas
tree with light. That is perfect for outside by
my nighttime lamp. The basket was 25 cents
and will look darling with a big holiday bow
attached. I can switch out the bows for
different holidays. Thanks for stopping by!

Nice things. I hope you enjoy them.
You got some great finds. You are well prepared for Winter decor. :) I don't even want to think about Winter and the miserable cold.
Wow Ann, you did get some great finds. I went to one yard sale on Saturday and bought Savannah a big Mickey Mouse for $10... she loves him and he's almost as big as she is.
Darling finds.
Where on earth do you store all the stuff you get at the sales?????
I always liked snowmen. Good stuff there, Ann!
Love your finds ! Can't wait to see you decorate with them !

I always have to check out your newest "finds" when I come over here. The World's Longest Yard Sale went on all week last week and passes through my town. I went on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. By Sunday it was all picked over and most were closing up shop. It was so hot and humid Saturday that I did not get out and I had my grandson with me. I found some good buys in local neighborhoods but the vendors were really high that set up on the highway and in fields. Mostly, I buy TW toys and I did buy a garden basket but I love looking. You always get such great buys.
