Welcome to the Ann Tucker Blog!

Welcome to my personal blog. Thanks to my son for building this neat blog page. I decided I wanted to give my thoughts and words to the world and hope they have some meaning and memories to grandparents (and others) everywhere. I am a retired civil servant (35.5 years with the Department of the Air Force), mother of two and grandmother of five. My maiden name was Scaling and I was married to Tilford N. Tucker. I raised and put two great children through college so I have a lot of experiences to build on. After retirement I became a webmaster (working for my son) for some of our family websites: ShaggyDuck
Have a fun time and a great day, bookmark this site and come back often!!!!

Granny's Recommendation.......

I don't know how many of you are apt to buy some fast food once in awhile. I do on occasion, and other than McDonalds sausage, egg and cheese McMuffin, I don't usually eat their fast food. On my granddaughters recommendation recently, I tried their new Grilled Chicken Club Sandwich. I want to say, it was really good. It had everything on it, lettuce, bacon, tomato, mozzarella cheese, mayo and the grilled chicken. (probably one million calories but its not like I'm going to go get one every day). You can get the chicken grilled or breaded. If you are in the mood for a good chicken sandwich one of these days you might try it - I think you'll like it. (Just because I like their chicken club sandwich doesn't mean I forgive them for the times they get all our orders wrong!)

I will certainly try this. I love chicken sandwiches. I live close to McDonalds, too. We love those little $1.00 ice cream sundaes at McDonalds. They don't do much for your waist but the chocolate one is heavenly! Be sure and ask for nuts with it.

I like their sausage/egg McMuffin alot, but without the cheese. And of course, they ALWAYS put cheese on it, no matter how much I remind them not to.

I'll try their grilled chicken next time. But I'll still get the fries with it!

It's french fries only for me. Love them!! When they would do the bucket of fries and I was pregnant with Moses I would eat an entire bucket on my way to work...15 minute drive.

Thanks for the recommendation ... on a side note, I felt a little ill reading the first part of your post today about the McMuffin.

You see, I've eaten a few McMuffins in my time. And when I say "a few" I mean a lot. So everytime I read about the McMuffin now - I feel a little sick.

I'll indulge in a little fast food from time to time. Thanks for the review!
