Thoughts for a Monday

Well all our Bradford Pear trees think it is Spring. Now catch this: Last Thursday it was snowing great big huge flakes. All day it snowed. It didn't stick as it was too warm and today it is supposed to be up to 77. My grandson and his dad are fishing today and my son and his family are planning to leave Wednesday for Colorado to ski. You know it sort of makes you dizzy as to what to think about....Spring or Skiing. Around here a lot of families go skiing during Spring break. I tried skiing once and it was the last time. I was on the baby slope and couldn't stop (until I hit the porch of a small log house). I just don't seem to be too coordinated for things like that.
I am watching the news and I see the Feds are going after Ruth Madoff's assets. Being her husbands bookkeeper there is no way she didn't know what he was doing. I am so glad they are really trying to get some money back to all those folks he bilked out of their savings. I think the SEC should pay some to them as they are the ones who let him get by with that for years, even after they were told what he was doing!!! There is just too much going on to keep up with it all. They said the other day that either 4 or 5 people who were scheduled to be put on the Treasury board, backed out - just how many people in Washington haven't paid their taxes?? Guess they need to check everyone out and I mean EVERYONE! Lets just see who has been saying one thing and doing another.

It's ALL wrong, how so many wealthy (not me) and powerful people (again, not me) have bilked the Working Class (me).
Ann Tucker, you are so lucky to already be retired. And even if skiing is not your thing, you should at least try to snowboard.
I am sure his wife knew about it all. They have been together for years and she had to know. Your weather sounds like Kentucky weather. We never know from one minute to the next what it will be.
